Introducing Badger Books

Badger Book flyer

Effective with the August 9, 2022 Partisan Primary, the City of Two Rivers will be implementing electronic poll books called Badger Books.

The Badger Books replace the paper poll books used previously.  Click here to watch a video on how Badger Books work.

Why the switch?
1. Voter registrations at the polls happen electronically.
2. Improved processes for poll workers.
3. Less wait time for voters - a voter can check in to vote at any Badger Book station, regardless of last name.
4. Less staff time required to prep for the election and to reconcile election data.
5. Voter participation statistics available at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/ faster.
6. Long term cost savings (staff time, poll worker costs).

The purchase and implementation of Badger Books was authorized by the City Council on October 4, 2021.

For questions regarding the implementation of Badger Books, please contact the City Clerk at 920-793-5526 or amabar@two-rivers.org.
