Public Works Engineering Division
The Engineering Division of the City of Two Rivers Public Works Department is responsible for the following:
- Manage Street Division
- Manage Water, Waste Water, Storm, Solid Waste and Recycling Utilities
- Assist with Economic Development Activities and Grants
- Administer City Public Transit Contract
- Manage Major Construction Projects
- Manage Closed and Abandoned Landfills
- Maintain "As Constructed" Plans, Files and GIS System
- Work With All Other Departments as needed
- Perform Design and Inspection Services
- Manage Harbor Development Projects (Dredge, Bridge, Launches, Trails, etc.)
- Handle most Communication Efforts with public for all Divisions and Utilities
- Provide Special Assessment Determinations and Calculations
- Manage memorial and honorary gifts
- Coordinate weed lot inspections and cutting
- Annual report preparation and submittal for Recycling Grant, Storm Water Report (MS4)
- Provide Hauler Licenses and work with Refuse & Recycling Contractor
- Sidewalk Inspections and permits
- Driveway permits (curb cuts)
- Work in Right-of-Way permits and plan approvals
