Public Works Street Division

The Street Division of the City of Two Rivers Public Works Department is responsible for the following:

• Construct and Maintain Streets
• Plow and haul snow, place salt and sand (streets, lots and sidewalks, when needed)
• Repair streets, sidewalks and structures
• Perform Maintenance on Sanitary Sewer Collection System
• Construct and Maintain Storm Sewer Collection System
• Maintain Storm Water Treatment Ponds and Facilities
• Annual Leaf Collection
• Emergency Responses
• Assist All Other Departments as needed
• Operate and Maintain Traffic Control Signals, Signs and Painting.(Pavement Markings)
• Operate and Maintain Draw Bridge
• Maintain all other Bridges
• Repair & Maintain All City Vehicles
• Street Sweeping
• Provide traffic control for special events
• Perform Tree Trimming on right-of-ways and during emergency responses
• Perform grass and weed cutting and control as needed
