Absentee Voting

Voters can submit requests for absentee ballots by mail using the following methods:

Absentee ballots may be requested online by going to myvote.wi.gov. This website allows the voter to enter their name and date of birth, upload a photo ID (if one hasn’t been provided previously), and submit a request for an absentee ballot.

Absentee ballots may be requested by mail by filling out the Application for Absentee Ballot and mailing it to the City Clerk at 1717 E. Park Street, Two Rivers, WI 54241. When voters request an absentee ballot by mail, they must include a photocopy of their photo ID with the request, or the ballot cannot be mailed. However, voters who are “indefinitely confined” because of age, illness, infirmity or disability, and voters in care facilities do not need a photo ID. Instead, the absentee witness verifies the voter’s identity. Active members of the US Armed Forces who are away from home are also exempt from the photo ID requirement. Please contact the City Clerk at 920-793-5526 for more information.

In-person absentee voting is available at City Hall beginning two weeks prior to the election and goes through the Friday before the election. Hours vary based on each election. Photo ID is required for all electors wishing to vote an absentee ballot in-person. Please contact the City Clerk at 920-793-5526 for more information.

All voted absentee ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted.

Voters are encouraged to visit the Bring it to the Ballot website for more information regarding photo ID requirements.
