Bartender (Operator) License

How do I get a bartender (operator) license?

Just print the application form and bring to the City Clerk's office, 1717 E. Park Street.  You'll need to provide a copy of your ID and proof that you have completed a responsible beverage server training course that is approved by the Department of Revenue.  Still need to take the course?  Click here for training options.

Licenses are issued for one-year or two-year terms starting July 1 and expiring June 30.

Can I use my license anywhere?

Your license is valid to work at any establishment within the Two Rivers city limits.

How much does it cost?

The fee is $37 for one-year licenses and $52 for two-year licenses.  Please note that it can take up to two weeks to receive your license.  If you need it sooner than that, you can pay an additional $15 for a provisional license.

I'm only bartending for a special event - do I still need to pay full price?

You can apply for a temporary operator license, valid for up to 14 days, for $12.

I have more questions.  Who can I contact?

Call the City Clerk's office at 920-793-5526.  We're happy to help!
