Trash and recycling in the City of Two Rivers is picked up curbside. Instead of being billed for the service or adding it to the property taxes, trash stickers are required on each item placed out for pick up. Each 30 gallons of garbage placed at the curb will require a sticker. Only garbage containers with stickers will be picked up. Stickers must be attached to the outside of bags (loop around neck of bag) or around the handle of trash cans.

Garbage may not be placed on curb more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up for your neighborhood.  

Recycling bin (blue):   $12.00 plus tax - Bins can be purchased at City Hall through Customer Service.

Garbage may be contained in:
30 gallon garbage cans
30 gallon plastic cans
** 50 lb weight limit on all garbage cans ** - If garbage can is over the 50 lb weight limit, it will NOT be picked up.  Residents can put extra bags with a sticker on it next to your garbage can to meet the weight limit.
 
Any multiple of the above
Examples:
3 - 30 gallon bags = 3 stickers
1 - 90 gallon garbage toter = 3 stickers

Sticker cost:    $3.00 each
