Stormwater Management

Part 3 of the Environmental Advisory Board 2024 Winter Educational Series.

Prior to 1972, few structured regulations existed pertaining to the discharge of pollutants into the nation's waters. That changed with the amendment of the Clean Water Act. Additional amendments have passed which structure the current-day stormwater management regulations that the City of Two Rivers is obligated to comply with. Public Works Director Matthew Heckenlaible and Engineer Scott Ahl describe those regulations and how the city fulfills requirements.
