On June 8, I had the opportunity to share the podium with Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett at a WI Urban Alliance meeting in Madison on “A 21st Century Fiscal Structure for Local Government in Wisconsin.”
The City Council will devote the first hour of its monthly work session on Monday, June 26 (6:00 to 7:00 PM) to discussion of local ordinances pertaining to animals in City parks and at special events.
As I mentioned in last week’s column, the City is seeking feedback from TR residents on issues pertaining to economic development.

As I have reported in earlier columns, the City has engaged a Madison-based consulting firm to assist with economic development strategic planning.
The team from Redevelopment Resources, LLC has conducted research on the community. They have met so far with over 85 local business and community representatives, individually and in focus groups.
