2018 City Budget Up for Public Hearing Monday Night

The City Manager’s proposed 2018 Budget was presented to the City Council on November 6, following review of its various component budgets by the City Council Finance and Utilities Committees.

City Water System Exceeds Lead Standards

Current federal and state standards require that public water systems conduct sampling and testing of water drawn from faucets at customers’ homes every three years.  The number of sampling locations varies, depending on the number of customers served by the system.  For Two Rivers, thirty samples are required.

Lincoln Avenue Re-Opens Thursday Night

Completion of the STH 42/Lincoln Avenue reconstruction project will be marked with a ribbon-cutting and refreshments this Thursday, October 19, at 5:00 PM. The event will be held in front of Krajnik Chevrolet, 3303 Lincoln Avenue, near the north end of the project.

Corps of Engineers in Harbor for Breakwater Repairs

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel and equipment from Kewaunee are mobilized at Two Rivers’ Lake Michigan harbor to undertake emergency repairs to the south breakwater. The tugs Kenosha and Racine, and the crane barge Manitowoc are at work on this project.
