Best of both worlds-cardio & sculpt!
Forty-five (45) minutes of fat burning,
muscle toning workout will get the
beginner hooked and will challenge the
fitness enthusiast. This class provides
cardio circuits that are easy to modify
for any fitness level and will include
sculpt exercises for arms, abs, legs,
and butts. Variety in each class will
add to the challenge and excitement; you
won’t know what to expect next!

The Simply Seniors class is a fun way to
socialize with your friends and get fit
at the same time. On Tuesdays we work
with weights, on Thursday you never know
what we’ll be working with: balls,
exercise bands, hula hoops, parachutes,
obstacle course, chair volleyball, Tai
Chi, etc. We strive to keep you
challenged while building strength,
increasing your range of motion and
doing exercises that improve balance,
thus decreasing your chances of falling.
Simply Seniors is taught by Trudy Van Da
Huvel. Trudy is a certified Group
Exercise Instructor & Personal Trainer
through the National Exercise Trainers
Association. She is a certified 200 hr.
Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga
Alliance and Yogafit Training Systems.
She is also certified to teach Tai Chi
for Arthritis through the Arthritis
Foundation. Trudy teaches classes at
several places in Manitowoc County
including Felician Village and the
Wellness Center in Manitowoc, St. Peter
the Fisherman Church and the
Community/Senior Center in Two Rivers,
and Valders School District. She
believes you are never too old to start
exercising and truly believes that
exercise is the best medicine for a
long, happy and healthy life.

Join Bruce Van Dyke as he teaches Hatha
Yoga. Learn breathing exercises, various
postures that stretch and flex the spine,
muscles, and nerves. This also regulates
the involuntary processes of respiration,
blood circulation, and the metabolism.
