Help keep our parks & trails clean and well groomed.
The Advisory Recreation Board typically meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6 PM at City Hall, in the Council Chambers.
Attraction tickets available at a reduced rate through the Parks & Recreation Department from Memorial Day through Labor Day. View or print the PDF for rates and information.
Nuisance Algae
Neshotah Beach: A swimming area in Lake Michigan is located at Neshotah Park. Changing rooms, restrooms, concessions, and sand volleyball courts are also available. ** Cladophora in lake Michigan Brochure
A City operated boat launch and fish cleaning station is located on the West Twin River at 16th & Madison Street adjacent to Vets Park.
The City operates two cemeteries.
The J.E. Hamilton Community House is home to the Parks & Recreation Administrative office as well as the Senior Center.
This department trims and plants trees in city parks, cemeteries, and in the terrace area of our city streets.
